Over 100 alumni from 70 companies gathered on campus. The Alumni Fair is the yearly opportunity for students of EMLV and fellow schools ESILV and IIM to network with alumni. Sharing an alma mater, common values and a same educational background contributes to establishing trusting relationships leading to professional opportunities.
Some alumni came back as managers of the companies they created, sometimes even before graduation, while others represented multinationals such as Altran Technologies, Capgemini, Allianz and Elior Group.
Building strong connections
For students, networking starts right from the first year at school. The Alumni Fair is the best moment to meet alumni and learn more about their career histories, their day-to-day and their analysis of the trends in their business sectors. Professional experience is essential in EMLV’s educational approach: students are required to spend 18 months of their curriculum as interns in companies.
The Alumni Fair is the time to find internships and jobs, all the more since alumni will be more inclined to recommend students from their schools.
As for alumni, participating in the Fair is a way for them to stay connected to their schools and also to be aware of the evolution of the students’ expectations of the professional life.
Looking back on the years at EMLV
This edition was organized by the Corporate Relations Department and the associations De Vinci Alumni and DeVinci Partners. More than an occasion for students to meet the previous classes, the Alumni Fair was also a time of reflection for the alumni.
They were back on campus to give insight about their jobs but also to look back on their years at EMLV : their best and worst memories and their advice for the students who have not yet graduated.

Getting stronger every year, De Vinci Alumni network
The network gathers 8000 alumni from the three schools in a wide variety of professional areas, in 46 countries worlwide. De Vinci Alumni, founded in 1996 has three missions: bringing the alumni community together around shared values and interests; helping them all along their professional lives by providing them with job offers and business opportunities; and participating in the good reputation of the three schools through the organisation of events, conferences and meet-ups.
Student association Devinci Partners develops corporate partnerships between companies and Pôle Léonard de Vinci’s three schools. It contributes to the influence of the programmes, in France and abroad. DeVinci Partners are also involved in the growth of the alumni network, hence their active participation in the organisation of the fair.
