Anissa Hadjadji is a second-year student in EMLV Master in Management in the class of 2026. She chose EMLV for its transversality and its highly professional programmes.
In the EMLV Master in Management (Grande École programme), years 1 and 2 allow students to discover management fundamentals, transversality and cooperation, and soft skills.
Year 3 is 100% international, with a semester in a partner university and an internship abroad. Years 4 and 5 are dedicated to specialisation, acquiring expertise, and building a professional project.
Cross-disciplinarity and multi-disciplinarity at EMLV
EMLV business school distinguishes itself from other schools by its transversality. This programme is spread over five years, with the first two years being multidisciplinary, including marketing, sales, finance, etc.
Then there is an international year which consists of a semester of university exchange and a semester of internship, again internationally. The two years of the Master’s programme are completed in France, and there are specialisations to choose from.
The Open Day, is an excellent way to discover EMLV
Initially, I had come to the Open Day to discover ESILV, as I was more interested in the engineering school’s programme. However, when I spoke to the ESILV students, they referred me to the EMLV students. After talking with them, I knew it was the business school I wanted, and specifically the EMLV, for its transversality.
EMLV’s Master in Management is different from other business schools because we work with students from the school’s two other schools: ESILV, the engineering school, and IIM, the digital school.
I appreciate that we can exchange with the other students because it has helped me immensely in the projects. For example, the hackathon named “24 hours to code a more responsible business travel”, an initiative of the Entrepreneurs Club. During this activity, I collaborated with two ESILV students to create artificial intelligence that helps people with Alzheimer’s to remember, thanks to a small memo on their phones.
A highly professional programme to become autonomous
The Master in Management programme is very professional, with a two-month internship in the first year, a six-month internship abroad in the third year, and the possibility of doing a work-study programme or internships during the Master’s programme.
EMLV is a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles, which brings together the best French higher education institutions.
The professionalization helped me immensely because I could intern as a real estate agent from the first year in an environment I greatly appreciate.
Combining school and entrepreneurship
There is also the Devinci Startup incubator, the entrepreneurial pole of De Vinci Higher Education, which encouraged me to create my startup, whose activity will be revealed shortly!
EMLV opened many doors for me and allowed me to take on positions of responsibility from the age of 19. It is a school that gives you responsibility and gives recruiters confidence.
If you are interested in EMLV, I recommend preparing for the SESAME competition, as this is the best advice I can give you. For the interviews, I advise you to stay on your own and practice on the school’s website for the written tests.
