But using skills with autonomy comes after years of experience and working for different companies and departments. For many employees, it becomes suffocating to give time, effort, and personal skills for the benefit of others or for an end goal that they can’t relate to, which is why they decide to invest on themselves and on their ideas and utilize their skills for a personal project instead of a corporate job that no longer satisfies them.
Inspiring Others is Key to Becoming a Business Entrepreneur
Becoming a business entrepreneur is the direct equivalent of being ready and wanting to inspire and encourage others to act as entrepreneurs in their jobs.
Every year, Pôle Universitaire Léonard de Vinci hosts an Alumni fair: this year, more than 100 alumni, representing around 90 companies gathered during an evening to help and advise future graduates in their search for internships or first jobs.
What’s important to note is that while some alumni came back representing multinational companies, others were proud managers of companies they created, even prior to their graduation.
