The annual I Pitch & Meet event at EMLV offers a platform where international MSc and MBA students engage with corporate representatives.
Organized by the Corporate Relations Department, this initiative bridges academic training with professional expectations, supporting students in transitioning to the French and international job market.
A Structured Approach to Career Development
The event is structured around individual pitch sessions, where students present their professional aspirations and receive direct feedback from recruiters.
Each pitch lasted 15 minutes, with 5 minutes of presentation and 5 to 10 minutes of feedback. The schedule was divided into 12 slots per jury, allowing students to participate in at least two interviews, with the possibility of a third based on availability.
This year, 10 companies confirmed their participation, including:
AEROW, ALLIANZ Trade, FinDiT Consulting, Horizon Trading Solutions, LAED X Digital Studio, Octopus Era, Tata Consultancy Services, and Technip Energies.

A Platform for Skill Development and Networking
Beyond individual presentations, the event promotes networking. It begins with a buffet lunch, followed by the opening remarks from EMLV’s Corporate Relations and Soft Skills departments. The pitching sessions run through the afternoon, concluding with a networking cocktail, where students and recruiters continue discussions in a more informal setting.
This event is an opportunity to garner attention from industry leaders and a platform for honing essential skills in communication, presentation, and self-promotion. Feedback from both students and recruiters underscored its efficacy in nurturing talent and fostering meaningful connections. Students valued the opportunity to receive constructive criticism and insights from professionals, recognizing its instrumental role in their personal and professional development.
Meanwhile, recruiters appreciated the chance to engage with a diverse pool of international students, recognizing the event’s potential to enrich their talent pipelines and foster a culture of innovation and diversity within their organizations.
