Last week, EMLV welcomed the first wave of students coming from abroad. Despite Covid-19 challenges, the EMLV Master in Management (Grande École) continues to be an attractive program for international students that choose to study in Paris, France.
“The 2020 September intake is our largest ever cohort of the Master in Management at EMLV Business School”, explains Camille TRZASKA, director of International Business Development at Pole Leonard de Vinci. The cohort is strengthened by an increase of 25% of new international students coming from the four corners of the globe.
“These numbers illustrate that EMLV continues to attract international students despite a tense economic situation for families. The campus location and our unique transversal approach with our sister schools (ESILV and IIM) add real value and are a guarantee of unique skills, much sought-after by students and companies” says Camille TRZASKA.
The Master in Management journey
This five-year, full-time general management Master programme offers top-ranked business education and awards a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degrees in business.
At EMLV, Master in Management students are encouraged to develop a well-rounded skillset and extensive knowledge of management, finance, marketing and business ready for the world of Management.
The program can also be a practical choice for those looking for a change in career, meaning they don’t necessarily have to have a background in business, finance or economics to study one.
Master in Management program covers all three vital stages of the student journey:
- First two years to acquire the basics of Management
- Third-year – abroad – to deepen their knowledge and develop new and open-minded visions
- The last two years to define their professional project
A customized curriculum of interdisciplinary studies
This Grande Ecole programme offers both a practical and a theoretical approach thanks to ten diverse majors including:
- Corporate Finance
- Audit and Control
- Digital Marketing Strategy
- International Business
- Marketing Innovation and Distribution
Students can enrol in the first year, the second, the third or the fourth year of the Master programme to pursue a Master degree.
The critical element of the Master in Management is a unique transversal approach, which includes practical workshops and hackathons with the two other schools located on the same campus: ESILV (Graduate School of Engineering) and IIM (Institute of Internet and Multimedia).
An English Track is offered throughout the five years of study, thereby strengthening the international dimension of the EMLV Master in Management.
Modern careers in Management are about leadership, communication and self-awareness and the Master’s in Management at EMLV reflects that. Various training modules aim to develop “soft skills” sought by employers: cross-cultural communication, self-motivation, leadership, responsibility, teamwork, problem-solving, project management, negotiation.
