EMLV, Third Post-Baccalaureate Business School According to Le Point

In Le Point’s 2025 ranking of the grandes écoles de commerce, EMLV comes third place among post-bac business schools offering a master’s degree after five years of study.

This year, 37 business schools participated in the survey. To be eligible, institutions must offer a five-year degree (bac+5) certified by the French State and carrying the Master’s grade or a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) also recognized by the State.

EMLV’s ranking at Le Point

In the 2025 ranking of the best business schools published by Le Point, the EMLV’s Grande École program moves up one place in the overall ranking (18th vs. 19th in 2024) and climbs to 3rd position among post-baccalaureate schools (vs. 4th in 2024).

Although rankings are useful for comparing business schools, they should not be the sole decision-making factor.

Joining a business school that grants a Master’ s-level degree is already a significant achievement. It ensures a high-quality education and recognized career opportunities.

Le Point Business School Rankings

For the 23rd consecutive year, Le Point has published its ranking of French business schools. This ranking includes two main lists: one for Grande École programs (PGE) and another for four-year Bachelor programs (BBA).

Based on six major criteria — teaching, international exposure, professional development, selectivity, research, and academic recognition — these rankings are supplemented by two additional top 10s: one focused on social inclusion, the other on environmental commitment.

Le Point’s Methodology

The methodology is based on six core criteria. Teaching assesses the quality of faculty support, the academic credentials of teaching staff, and the number of dual degrees awarded.

Professional development examines graduate employment rates, average starting salaries, internship duration, the number of students in work-study programs, and the alumni network. Selectivity considers average high school grades, the proportion of top honors (mentions très bien), and the percentage of graduates coming from the main entrance exam.

Internationalization is measured by the percentage of graduates working abroad, time spent abroad, cultural diversity, and international partnerships.

Research is evaluated based on the number and quality of academic publications, while academic recognition factors in international accreditations, the duration of the Master’s grade, and appearances in the Shanghai and Financial Times rankings.

Two specific rankings provide additional insight. The top 10 for social diversity values the proportion of scholarship students, work-study participation, and the diversity of admitted profiles.

The top 10 for environmental commitment highlights schools engaged in ecological transition, particularly those certified with the DD&RS label and offering initiatives like the Climate Fresk and the TASK test by Sulitest.
