International Week 2023: an educational, transversal and international approach

The 2023 International Week is here! With International Week, Devinci Higher Education schools have developed a cross-disciplinary teaching approach that mixes the different specialities, allowing students to work in multidisciplinary teams (managers, engineers, designers) while progressing in their studies and acquiring digital knowledge.

As part of the international week, like every spring, Devinci Higher Education receives professors from partner universities for a week of global immersion in Paris.

It is in this spirit that the international week brought together 1,500 students from the three schools in the same seminars, as well as students from partner institutions such as Lomé Business School (Togo), Jacky Felly Nafack HighTech University Institute in Douala (Cameroon) and Karel de Grote in Antwerp (Belgium).

Organised by the International Relations Department with the help of the three schools of Devinci Higher Education, the International Week took place this year from 27 March to 31 March 2023.

Workshops, study abroad preparation, and seminars

The week’s programme included classes given by professors from universities around the world to get students used to courses offered in English and to take advantage of a different way of teaching than the usual one.

In addition to the courses and workshops, this rich experience was also achieved through conferences open to all on various international topics.

Three types of intervention at the International Week for ESILV and EMLV students:

  • Online or face-to-face workshops: Opening workshops on various subjects. Six hours of seminars in total, or two 3-hour workshops. These workshops were evaluated on attendance at the end of the week.
  • Online briefings: Conceived to prepare students for their departure to foreign universities.
  • Online conferences: attending several seminars dedicated to the international field but addressing different themes.
