La Femme du Digital, 2023 edition: Malena Gufflet, EMLV class of 2005, among the nominees

Malena Gufflet, General Manager of Booking.com France, a 2005 graduate of EMLV, where she attended the Grande Ecole programme, was one of the nominees.

Malena has been nominated for the 2023 edition of the election of La Femme du Digital, organised by Ecommercemag.fr, a website specialising in e-business news, particularly advertisers, agencies, and brands.

To highlight their convictions, values, and vision, the Ecommercemag.fr editorial team has published a portrait of Malena and ten inspiring women.

The 2023 edition of La Femme du Digital

La Femme du Digital is an initiative to allow women to share their journeys and highlight women leaders in the technology field. This event is co-organized by Cofidis Business Solutions and Ecommercemag and highlights the female leadership of 10 inspiring women.

Malena’s background

While she was still a Devinci Higher Education student, Malena was already working in hotel establishments. Attracted by this world of excellence, she began her career as a sales representative for a top-of-the-range hotelcomprising more than 300 independent establishments.

After spending two years at Adagio, a hotel chain belonging to the Accor group, Malena joined the management committee of Maison Options, a company specialising in equipment rental and table and buffet staging.

Since 2020, Malena has been General Manager France at Booking.com, a global company offering accommodations from hotels to guest houses and flats.

During years 1 and 2, the Grande Ecole Program allows students to discover management fundamentals, transversality, cooperation, and soft skills. Year 3 is 100% international, with a semester in a partner university and an internship abroad. Years 4 and 5 are dedicated to specialisation, acquiring expertise, and building a professional project.

Details of the La Femme du Digital event

The La Femme du Digital event is a joint Ecommercemag and Cofidis Business Solutions initiative. This competition highlights female leadership in technology and digital by honouring ten remarkable women. The candidates’ portraits are published weekly for a month, allowing Internet users to discover their career paths, convictions, and values. Users can then vote for their favourite candidate. A jury then examines the finalists to establish the final ranking.

The winners of the 2023 edition

The 2023 Digital Woman of the Year election results were revealed at a dinner held at the Marsan restaurant, run by the famous chef Hélène Darroze.

Cofidis Business Solutions and Ecommercemag announced the winner of this year’s competition: Celine Rouzé Lemaire, Director of Customer Experience at Jules. Clarisse Jouenne, General Manager of Foodette, took second place, followed by Graziella Kaeuffer, Director of Omnichannel Customer Experience at COURIR, in third place.
