To facilitate vaccination against COVID-19 for its academic community, De Vinci Higher Education is hosting a vaccination center on the La Defense campus. Thanks to this vaccination facility on campus, all the international students at Pole Leonard de Vinci can get their first and second doses by appointment.
The Pole Leonard de Vinci Higher Education hosts a “vaccinodrome”, the biggest vaccination center from the Haut-de-Seine department. Since 2 September, the De Vinci campus has been home to the former vaccination centre in the Paris la Défense Arena. The centre has a capacity of up to three thousand doses per day.
Autumn 2021: in-person classes and vaccination available for all students
After a hybrid academic year, the start of the 2021/2022 year is intended to return to normal. All De Vinci Higher Education teams are working to enforce the conditions for reception and teaching in person for all students, on the campus, with the academic year starting at the beginning of October and a return to the usual academic calendar, always in respect of the sanitary regulations in place.
As massive vaccination rollouts continue in France, Pole Leonard de Vinci has opened its doors for the Courbevoie vaccination center. The Red Cross and the Paris fire brigade are jointly responsible for the vaccination campaign.
The Pole Leonard de Vinci vaccination center is fully prepared. Up to 3,000 Pfizer-Biontech doses per day are expected to be given each day. At the former centre located at the Paris La Défense Arena, nearly 250,000 injections were carried out over almost four months.
International students can receive the vaccine directly from the vaccination center prior to being registered for the Sécurité Sociale (French health insurance). The vaccine is free for all international students. The Pole Leonard de Vinci vaccination centre is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm. To make an appointment: www.sante.fr.
