The Bachelor Affaires & Relations Internationales graduate has the managerial and human skills to successfully manage international projects in the context of a globalised and uncertain economy, with increasingly complex conflict situations and new economic and geopolitical challenges.
At the end of the course, graduates of the Bachelor’s degree are equipped with a solid set of skills, and are able to :
Today’s professional skills require an in-depth understanding of global dynamics and their implications for organisations. This includes the ability to detect and assess the geopolitical and intercultural issues and risks that an organisation may face. In addition, it is essential to master international development strategies to enable organisations to flourish beyond their borders. In addition, as the global scene continues to evolve, it is crucial to identify relevant stakeholders and recognise geopolitical risks, particularly when managing events of international stature.
The Pôle Léonard de Vinci’s educational model, developed in close collaboration with the professional world, and the emphasis placed on in-company experience play a decisive role in the successful integration of our young graduates into the professional world.
Our students focus on tangible business issues with an international reach. This approach ensures that their theoretical knowledge is constantly applied to the dynamics and practical requirements of the business world.
Three key moments punctuate the course and enable future graduates to define their career plans.
In addition to theoretical courses and hackathons and periods spent in companies and abroad, students take professional qualifications, including a ‘UN simulation’: a role-playing exercise in multilateral diplomacy, simulating the work of the General Assembly and other United Nations bodies to introduce students to global citizenship.
Once they have graduated, students have the option of entering the job market directly, continuing their studies at EMLV or joining a management or specialist school.
It is also possible to complete the two placement periods, one required and the other optional, abroad. This international experience gives students the opportunity to gain an understanding of business and international relations in a global context, while developing language and intercultural skills that are crucial in an international business and geopolitical environment. What’s more, studying abroad enhances independence and adaptability, attributes that are highly valued by employers.
Preparing for an expatriation is essential: at EMLV, the international relations department supports students in organising their stay abroad, offering events such as the Study Abroad Fair and organising workshops. English language skills also play a key role: TOEFL preparation courses during the first year and at the beginning of the second year equip students to tackle their future international experience with confidence.
It is also crucial to consider the financial aspects of an academic stay abroad: additional costs, including those relating to transport, food, accommodation, the purchase of books, various fees and health/repatriation insurance, are the responsibility of students and their families. In some countries, students may also have to pay tuition fees at their host university.
There are, however, significant mobility support schemes. These financial supports are designed to help students with their international study plans, reflecting the school’s desire to make international education both accessible and rewarding.
