At 28 years old, Steven decided to leave his beautiful country of Ghana to follow his dreams. He started with a big first step: pursuing an MSc in International Business at EMLV.
The Msc Internatinal Business is an RNCP accredited program designed to provide international students like Steven with the know-how to compete in the global business market. The combination of both academic and practical approach was a winning point for him.

MSc International Business: why this program?
By exploring the various cultural and geopolitical characteristics of today’s complex international business environment, the program prepares future managers to become members of the international community in this digital world. For Steven, there were two main reasons that encouraged him to choose this particular program.
The first being that he wanted to gain an in-depth knowledge about today’s business; and the second was that he was encouraged by the school that played an important role in preparing his transition from West Africa to Europe, “the orientation was superb”, he added.
Why Paris?
Well, why not. The program is based on a global outlook and allows students to experience an interactive curriculum where they get the chance to dive into the “French Tech” environment through their 6-month internship. But all fun and no play makes this experience a bit dull, which is why Steven himself is able to build great connections with his classmates, not only academically in their team projects, but also in his outings and sightseeing experiences:
“Sometimes we organize get-togethers with friends in Paris where we visit iconic places and sites that are noted as one of the best destinations for tourism.”
What the future holds…
After successfully finishing the 6 months of courses, Steven already began his internship and is ready to take the world of business by storm. And as challenging as it was, it was great to see his enthusiasm and how he fully lived this tough yet enjoyable experience with much motivation and ambition.
