Welcome To France, To Paris, And To Your Life at Devinci Higher Education!

Coming to France for your studies abroad can be challenging, but there are many ways you can get support with everything from administrative formalities to friends. At Devinci Higher Education, students clubs are the heart of student life and they are also international students’ best friends.

With many international students interested in master’s, MBA or MSc programs at EMLV, Devinci Higher Education has launched a second intake of students in January 2022, in addition to their major intake in September 2021.

This year, ESN Devinci, the student club that helps and supports international students, welcomed more than 20 new nationalities on board. ESN Devinci aims to help international and exchange students at Devinci Higher Education enjoy their life “a la française” and make the best out of their study abroad experience in France.

Exploring Paris with the new students

To accompany international students’ first steps into Paris, ESN Devinci took them on a brief tour of La Défense, France’s premier business district. The student club members were the guides for the tour, offering information on the historical and economic context of La Défense, tips on where to visit, where to shop, and other valuable hints to maximize the students’ stay in the area.

About forty international students enjoyed a boat cruise on the Seine at night, a friendly moment that the guests appreciated. It was an excellent opportunity for the newcomers to meet their fellow students and know them.

Finally, the welcome week wrapped up on Sunday with a visit to the Louvre and its surroundings for the new international students who were thus able to discover the beauty of Paris during their first week of study in France.

ESN Devinci is an active member of ESN international. Devinci Higher Education student club helps international students when they arrive to become familiar with the EMLV campus during their study abroad experience here, as well as engaging in activities that introduce students to the culture and sites of Paris.
